Founder and CEO
SilverRail Technologies CEO Aaron Gowell co-founded the rail-ticketing technology platform in 2009 and has since been named to a slew of “who’s who in travel technology” lists, and there’s a good reason for that. SilverRail helps rail carriers unite under a single global solution that simplifies rail marketing and ticketing in 10 different countries in Europe and North America.
Before SilverRail, Gowell helped build National Leisure Group into a billion-dollar heavyweight in the cruise and vacation space. Prior to NLG, he served in the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne, worked for Bain & Company, and was a founding partner of Boston-based General Catalyst Partners, a venture capital firm. According to his official bio, his “claim to fame” is one of the lowest recorded combat jumps in military history, from 300 feet above the ground.
